Assignment 2 Codes of  Ethics

Some of code of ethics are family,responsibility and being truthful. Were my code of ethics came from are my friends and family. I think having your family is great because they should support everything you do and encourage you to do your best and be someone in life. Responsibility is important because you should know right from wrong and be responsible for your actions instead of blaming others. In my oppion you should value truthfulness so that you can gain the trust of friends,family,coworkers and not live with guilt that you lied to them.

                            The 1899 Painting by Vuilliard

In Vuilliard's 1899 painting you can see were he tryed to use balance when he put small and big objects on the left side of his painting and on the right side. On the left side in the back ground you can see a small table and a vase, and on the right side you see the lady sitting at the table with something in the background. In his painting one principle of design I do see is proportion. You might be able to see this in the color when he uses light colors to dark and big shapes and small shapes. you can also see repetition on the ladies jacket and on the walls thay keep the same shape and colors.

                                       Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire

What I learned is that Fred danced with Ginger because he was wanting to marry her and he didn't know how to ask her so he danced and sang to her to capture her attention. They also danced to the beat of the music so that they could do a good performance for there audience. Its smooth classic music and maybe its a love song. I think its trying to say that you can fall in love with someone when you look into there eyes.

   Assignment 1 - Blog: How "place" shapes our way of thinking

I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky in the projects for about four years and it was in the rural area like around the city.Then in 1998 I moved into a trailer on a street called newtown pike. I had lived there for about nine years and I was about twelve years old. Then I moved to Denver Colorado with my dad,stepmother and two brothers. The apartments that I lived in was far from the city and close to my school. There were lots of buildings, and I remember there was this big opened land were some construction people were beginning to build a park. when it was done it looked really nice. While I lived in Denver there was this place called Golden Colorado while passing through there it had some houses and buildings it was like a town. My dad had to work there and he helped build a bridge. It seemed as if there was always construction going on.

  Assignment 4 - Blog Portfolio: A Short Play Unit 2 Elements of Theater 

Characters: Sara,Whitney,Katie and a officer.

Setting: In a white truck and a blue car.

  One day  Sara and Whitney were on there way to the Salvation Army to get presents for there children. Sara is going way to fast and Sara says "slow down you are going to hit something."

Whitney: "No I'm not I know how to drive."

Sara: "Watch out your about to hit that car."

 !!BOOM!! Whitney pulls over to the side after hearing the loud boom. she realises that she hit the other car.Whitney gets out of the car and walks over to the driver in the blue car and tells Katie in the blue car." I am so sorry I can pay you for your car if you let me go please I do not want to go to jail.

Katie: " How can you pay me? You do not have any money."

Whitney: I don't have money but my husband has a job and he can pay you. Just please let me go.

Katie: " This isn't my car its my daughters."

Officer: " Do you ladies need help?

"Yes"

Katie: " I will not and can not take less than 500 dollars for this car."

After taking all of there information the officer gives Whitney a citation and every goes home. no one was hurt.

        Assignment 1-Blog -What is the Purpose of Theatre?

I have talked about my experience before in doing a play when I was in kinder garden and we the class mates had to do a play. In the play the costumes and accessories that we had were  red vests with a red french hat and we sat on stage to sing fair a Shaka. Each student had to sing a part and be loud. Of course I was nerves and I'm sure the others students were to. Some props that I do remember having were a bed made from paper, bells that went along with the song. The Scenery that we had was just the bed the stage and the curtains after we were done we closed them or opened them.

 I don't have very much experience with music but I do remember when I was in fifth grade my music teacher taught us how to play a song on the drums and xylophone and it was cool. The beat was like 123,123 beat it was neat and I really liked it.

What I learned is that when you have a smaller home you same more energy because the heat and ac will flow through the house faster than when you have a bigger home. You can also repair things in your house instead of buying a new one. You can do this by fixing a window or putting instillation in the house. I pick this to wright about because I new about solar panels and houses that you can use from the earth.

Assignment 1 An Architecture

This building is called the National Center for Atomosheric Research it is by the architect I.M. Pei. It was built between 1961 through 1967. Its located in Boulder,Colorado. In my opinion I think that asymmetrical is used because the building looks different but I also believe that I.M. Pei used symmetrical. My reason for this is because some parts of the building look like each other. It also looks like it has some pattern by the way its shaped.

In my picture I wanted to leave space to keep people thinking why. I used blue because its one of my favorite colors. I also used orange because it reminds me of Halloween or the fall. If you mix the colors you get gray and brown which are not so pretty colors. Its cool and has some shape.

My Exsperience

                                                        My Experience

    When i was in kindergarden we had to do this play and all my class mates were dressed up in these little red french hats and red vest. We had to put on a play and I was nerves and did not want to do it. That same day I had to dress up as a flower and step out on stage to sing a song and I was nervous. I t was a crazy collaboration as well as a crazy day. My emotional response was that I would do bad or mess something up, but at the end of the day it was a great play

My name is Elvira Flannery I am in the 11 grade. I also have a beautiful daughter named Eva, she is my pride and joy and number 1 priority as well as my education. I am half Mexican and I am fluent in Spanish. I hope to go to college so I can become a Spanish translator for the courts. I am an outgoing person I get along with just about everybody.I work hard so that I can get my work or task done.
